Dr. Prasit Aranyarachkul
Dr. Aranyarachkul, A.K.A. Dr. Aran, has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since 2004. The Board awards Diplomate status upon those who, after the completion of postdoctoral advanced specialty training, successfully complete a two part examination, which consists of a comprehensive written and an oral examination.
Dr. Aran received his dental degree (D.D.S.) in 1995 from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. In 1999, he started his residency training in Advanced Periodontology at Loma Linda University, California, and received his Advanced Periodontics Certificate as well as Master degree (M.S.) in 2002. After graduation, he moved up to practice periodontics in King County, Washington. Due to his interest in the academic field, he also taught at the Department of Periodontics, the University of Washington.
In 2009, Dr. Aran moved to Santa Clara County, and started his own practice in Saratoga, California.
Dr. Aran is an active member of several professional organizations; American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Santa Clara Dental Society.
In his free time, he enjoys playing badminton, watching movies, and reading.
Donald W. Boyle, D.D.S.
A native of San Francisco, Don went to Lowell High School and UC Berkeley, graduating from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. For his post graduate training in Periodontics, Dr. Boyle attended Temple University in Philadelphia for two years. He and his wife, Dale, returned to the bay area and have resided in the Santa Clara Valley since 1974. He taught at UOP Dental School for two years while establishing his periodontal practice and has enjoyed private practice since that time. He has supported the Santa Clara County Dental Society by volunteering on many committees and served as President in 1993. Currently Dr. Boyle is President of the SCCDS Foundation. His daughter, Christine and her husband Brian live in the area with their twin boys. Dr. Boyle is an active sports enthusiast, enjoying biking, boating, fishing, golf and most all activities that keep him in the fresh air.
